The Executive Secretary of the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) had the honour of representing the Central Corridor at the Land-Linked Zambia 2026, held in Lusaka from 23-24 April 2026, under the theme: “Beyond Borders: Re-Imagining Africa’s Transport Corridors for Prosperity.”

The high-level forum brought together policymakers, industry leaders, development partners, and regional stakeholders to explore transformative strategies for strengthening transport connectivity, trade facilitation, and economic growth across the continent.

During the Opening Ceremony, the Executive Secretary underscored that the future of Africa depends on integrated, efficient, and green transport corridors that connect markets, unlock trade opportunities, create jobs, and improve livelihoods.

He further noted that Zambia’s ambition to become a land-linked logistics and trade hub strongly aligns with the Central Corridor’s shared regional vision of advancing sustainable prosperity through seamless regional connectivity.

In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of stronger partnerships, smarter infrastructure investments, digitalized trade systems, and coordinated border management as key drivers for building resilient corridors that support growth across Southern, Eastern, and Central Africa.
