Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) in partnership with Uganda Shippers Council (USC) and Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) Uganda liaison office, conducted a Sensitization Workshop for the business community of Jinja. Under the stewardship of CCTTFA Board Member, Mr. Charles Kareba, a renowned and experienced businessman himself, the workshop brought together around 50 companies and businesses based in Jinja, a leading economic hub in Uganda.
The objective of the sensitization workshop was to showcase the opportunities along the Central Corridor & for the Uganda business community to optimally utilize its multimodal services. Major developments have been made at Dar es Salaam port by TPA to improve port efficiency & productivity and have also re-opened a liaison office in Kampala to serve Ugandan businesses.
