CCTTFA Secretariat held a 3-day workshop from 28th-30th August, 2023 at the Panorama Hotel in Bukavu, DRC for consultations, review and feedback on the ongoing Luberizi-Kamonyola road project. The meeting was attended by all the Technical Stakeholders of the project to discuss the consultants report on detailed engineering design for Lot 2 (89KM). The workshop was attended by officials from the Implementing Agency/CCTTFA, Congolese Experts from Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructures, the Ministry of Transport, Ways of Communication and Opening Up as well as the Ministry of Environment.
The objective of the 3-days workshop was to open up a broad discussion with the Consultant on the different components of the draft Detailed Engineering Design report in accordance with the Terms of Reference. The consultant presented the detailed Engineering Design report; Bridges Design report; Environmental and Social Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan; and the Bankability Analysis report.
