Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) Secretariat through the Central Corridor Transport Observatory Project (CCTO) hosted IT Experts from DRC Customs Authority (DGDA) to participate in the finalization of the System Integration on data exchange. The activity took place in Dar es Salaam from May 03, 2022 – May 10, 2022.
The activities conducted throughout the week included: analysis of the existing situation and presentation of the specifications of the architecture of the Web services and the structure of the data to be exchanged on each side; customization of Web Services and Web Services Client Development whereby after a consensus on the methodology and the architecture of the exchanges, each team dedicated itself, first, to personalizing its web Service and adjusting the methodology to make the agreed data available to the other, and then, proceed with the development of Web Services clients which led to the analysis of the data pulled from the preliminary test; Script finalizations that is making information available as agreed in the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU); and finally integration and testing of the systems which went successfully.
CCTTFA Executive Secretary Adv. OKANDJU OKONGE Flory met with both teams together with the Head of Logistics & Trade Facilitation who is in charge of the Transport Observatory Project Eng. Melchior Barantandikiye congratulated both teams on the great work done and urged them to keep working together so that accurate and timely data is shared to enable Central Corridor users benefit from the that information.
