The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) welcomes and highly commends the decision by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo to exempt Ugandan citizens holding valid passports from entry visa requirements for stays not exceeding ninety (90) days.

This important measure marks another significant milestone in strengthening regional integration, promoting the free movement of people, and facilitating trade, investment, and people-to-people connectivity within the Central Corridor region.

 

This important milestone also reflects the continued efforts of the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency to promote regional integration, facilitate trade and tourism, and enhance the free movement of people within the region through practical and people-centered initiatives.

 

The Permanent Secretariat congratulates both the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Government of the Republic of Uganda for their continued commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and advancing regional economic integration for the benefit of the people and economies of the region.
