Lilongwe Malawi, In a significant step towards improving regional connectivity, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have successfully concluded negotiations on the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA). The negotiations, coordinated by the Permanent Secretariat of the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA), took place in Lilongwe, Malawi’s capital.
This agreement paves the way for direct flights between Malawi and the DRC, effective immediately.
