Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) today launched its Transport Observatory 2018 Report to its Tanzania stakeholders. The Transport Observatory is a monitoring and evaluation tool developed and used to assess the growth and performance of the transport corridor. It monitors trade and transport flows, bottlenecks, impact of interventions or policy shocks and any other variable that may be considered of interest in understanding the growth and performance of the transport corridor.

Among the activities of the Transport Observatory is to collect data from various stakeholders within Central Corridor member states, undertake data processing and analysis to generate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and finally generate various reports including the annual report that contains a detailed report of the performance of the Central Corridor.
